DENPASAR - Film Eat, Pray, Love, starring by Hollywood actress Julia Roberts has entered the preparation stage. Now, the official film began open casting for extras and background.
Casting for local players is held for two days at the Hotel Sanur Agung, Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai, Denpasar. "For extras, we need dozens of people. As for the background players need hundreds of people," said Assistant Casting Director Inneke in Denpasar, on Saturday (26/9/2009).
Inneke said, casting for this prestigious film enough interested participants, both from Bali or outside Bali. Players are needed in between men and women aged 17-50 years, 4-12 years of age and mom and baby whose age ranges from 9 months to a year.
Interestingly, there are a number of difficulties encountered to find players and background extras. One of the extras that have not been found is for the role of shaman (shaman, red) with the qualifications of a grandfather at least 70 years of age with the ability to speak English and read the script.
Rigas Swan, one of the participants who met after his end casting optimistic will be selected to be one of the extras in the film. Moreover, some casting experience has been followed. "Who knows fame can ride at once to meet Julia Roberts," she said.
