Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson has used three anti-gay slurs in the past 24 hours after he was confronted about using his Twitter account to rip his head coach Todd Haley.

When reporters entered the Chiefs locker room on Monday, Johnson said he was not answering any questions until Thursday. He then uttered this under his breath, according to radio station KCSP and Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star:

“Get your faggot asses out of here.”

Last night, when Johnson got into a Twitter spat with a fan, he called the fan a “fag,” according to Yahoo Sports, which monitored the exchange:

“think bout a clever diss then that wit ur fag pic. Christopher street boy. Is what us east coast cats call u.”

“Christopher street boy” is an obvious reference to gays for the Christopher Street gay pride parade in New York. The fan made mention of Johnson pleading guilty after allegedly spitting in the face of a female bar patron.

Johnson went off on Twitter (his account, once public, is now private) after the Chiefs (1-6) lost to San Diego, 37-7. He wrote that his father had more experience than first-year Chiefs head coach Todd Haley:

“My father played for the coach from “rememeber the titans”. Our coach played golf. My father played for redskins briefley. Our coach. Nuthn”

Johnson has had numerous run-ins with the law:

Johnson has had four arrests for various degrees of battery since being drafted by the Chiefs in 2003. One charge was pled down, with Johnson serving time in a domestic violence diversion program. A second charge was dropped, while two other charges - including the aforementioned spitting incident - were reduced to disturbing the peace. Johnson received probation for a guilty plea in the latter two charges.

“Fag,” “Faggot” and “Christopher street boy.” The NFL (if not the Chiefs) must fine and suspend Larry Johnson or else it condones the use of such language by its players.

Update: NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Pro Football Talk that the league is investigating what Johnson said. “We are in the process of getting the facts,” he said.


Oh well. There are plenty of other athletes who are hella sexy and don't have a problem with the gays.

YouTube Will Show U2 Concert

SAN FRANCISCO, KOMPAS.com - YouTube will show that U2 concert will take place at the Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California, United States (U.S.). concert to be held October 25 will be displayed streaming by that Google subsidiary.

YouTube Partner Development Director Chris Maxcy, said U2 concert is the first concert to be aired in full via live streaming. "People do not need a long journey to witness the U2 concert," Maxcy said. This U2 concert can be watched in 16 countries including the U.S., France and Canada with access youtube.com/u2.

YouTube has been holding four world-class music labels. With that cooperation, YouTube can view video clips of the artists who take shelter under four labels. By showing a variety of music videos, YouTube expects the number of visits on their site increased.

No Freakum Dresses For Malaysia

Beyonce has postponed a planned concert in Malaysia amid objections by Islamic conservatives that her performance would be too sexual.

Knowles, known for her provocative clothes and choreography, had been scheduled to perform at a Kuala Lumpur stadium Oct. 25. The show "has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly," Malaysian entertainment company Marctensia said in a statement.

"The postponement is solely (the) decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons," the statement said.

A Marctensia representative declined to say whether the decision was prompted by criticism from the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, the country's largest opposition group, which has called for the show to be scrapped because it would promote "Western sexy performances."

Knowles also canceled a planned performance in Malaysia in 2007 following protest threats by the opposition Islamic party. At the time, her talent agency said the show was called off due to a scheduling conflict.

Instead, Knowles went to Indonesia, also a largely Muslim country, which has less stringent rules about how performers should dress and behave. Female artists at Malaysian concerts are required by government rules to cover up from the shoulders to knees, with no cleavage showing.

Other female stars, such as Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefani have performed in the conservative country despite similar protests, and wore clothes that showed little flesh. Lawd I'd hate to see what would happen if Lil' Kim tried to do a show there lol!

Question of The Day: When Will We Rise Up?

Pretty much every black gay blog I've read has talked about our lack of cohesion/action as black LGBTs. I've responded on threads and blogged about why it seems so hard for us as black gays and lesbians to truly form a cohesive, outspoken community willing to stand up to the homophobia in our communities. Some say this apathy comes from the lack of outreach from mainstream (i.e. white) organizations. Others say it's because the homophobia we grew up with in church and the neighborhood have been drilled into us so deeply that at their core most black gays feel a degree shame over their sexuality. And some believe that most black gays just don't give a damn about marriage equality, hate crimes legislation, DADT, etc.

So my question is, after all the analysis and open threads and editorials have been written, what will it take? What will it take for us as black gays to rise up as an organized force and say 'No More.' No more sitting quietly while being degraded by the pastor. No more hiding our relationships or sexuality out of fear of being accused of "flaunting our lifestyle." No more feeling like we should just go along to get along, accepting whatever table scraps we can get.

I'm honestly at a loss as to what it would take for this to happen. So what do you think? Please leave comments and don't hold back (I have 8 followers so I know somebody reads this blog lol:).

The 39-year-old fiancée of Anna Paquin would like his vampire character, Bill Compton, to have a sex scene with Eric Northman, the character played by Skarsgård, according toDigital Spy.

“Alex is a good friend of mine and a fantastic actor and I love working with Alex and I don’t get to do it as much as I would love to,” Moyer told the Web site.

“You never know -- whether they’ll stick Eric and Bill in bed together, I don’t know. But here’s hoping,” added Moyer.

Personally I'd like to see Ms. Lafayette get his groove on with Jason or Eggs, but His Royal Hotness got shot down last season. But I could make do with Bill and Eric gettin' it on, even though I don't know how it would possibly fit into the show's story line.

Stories From The Battefield: Looking For A Job Is A Job!

Anyone who's been looking for job in the past (let's just say 1-2 years) knows what I'm talking about. I've only been applying and searching in earnest since August, and if trying to find a part-time gig is this frustrating, I can only imagine how difficult my post-grad future might be.

Applying at Wal-Mart has been one source of aggravation. Everytime I call(which is usually several times a week) to check on the status of my application or to see if it's even been glanced at, I'm always dismissed with we'll call if there's a need. Really, a need? If there isn't a need then why is it that everytime I walk into Wally World after 11 p.m. are there boxes and boxes of items that need to be stocked and only 5 or 6 employees present to stock them? Or there are runaway carts all over the damn parking lot? But you don't have a need? Sure. Why not just be honest and say you're not hiring right now.

Ooh, and chile don't get me started on some of the applications. Why is it important where I went to grammar school? If I have my high school diploma I obviously made it out of someone's middle school. Then there are the questionnaires. Do you really think I'm going to say it's alright to steal company property (for the record I don't) and yell at customers and expect to be hired by any manager with an ounce of sanity? They can be so tricky because you have to balance between being honest enough so don't think you're a phony, but you also can't be too real otherwise they'll think you're not a team player or a constant bundle of cheer.

Another issue seems to be writing your available hours. It's always catch 22, and you can never be completely honest. On the one hand you have to put down that you can work weekends, holidays, funerals(lol), and pretty much imply that you have no life, or you can't even hope for a call back. But at the same time, when you say during an interview that you have other committments and would need to adjust your hours, it's a problem.

Being strung along by potential employers can also be irritating. I've been going to this particular place (I won't say which one in the off, off chance it will be read by the manager---I'm paranoid like that sometimes:) and at least three times I've been told to come back the next because this person's boss hasn't shown up. I always think damn, who is he Big Papa from Real Housewives of Atlanta! I've already filled out an application, gotten a call back and am still trying to get on for a seasonal position. Once I went there and waited for the guy to just send my information to the store manager (or the main office or something). Hell I could've saved my gas and done that over the phone!

*Sigh* but even with all that, pounding the pavement is a necessity. Luckily I don't have any children or many bills ( I couldn't imagine being a parent and having that extra pressure) and being a musician brings in some spare cash. Eventually I'll get a job--and then write a post airing my complaints lol!

Hollywood actress Julia Roberts certainly arrived in Bali on October 16, 2009, for the shooting movie Eat, Pray, Love. As a welcome, Pretty Woman star was received a special invitation to dinner at Puri Ubud.

The assurance was conveyed by Gianyar Regent Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati. "Our invitation has a few days ago. Question the place, we saw the best in Puri Ubud," she explains in the office of the Bali Tourism Board, Jalan Puputan Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday (13/10/2009).

The man who nicknamed Cok Ace is fully supporting the movie that adaptation of a novel by Elizabeth Gilbert's. It had issued shooting permits in a number of locations in Gianyar, as in Puri Ubud, Ubud traditional market, theme parks Monkey Forest, the village Demayu and Terrace.

Cok Ace hopes the movie can come up Bali tourism image in the eyes of the world community.

"Sure hope this can not be achieved with the instant, but long term. Especially if the later can be followed by artists other Hollywood," he added.

She planned to start filming on 16 October to 6 November. Besides in Gianyar, taking pictures will also be carried out at Uluwatu and Nusa Dua, Badung regency.

New Music: Lady Gaga "Bad Romance"

This new track from Lady Gaga will appear on The Fame Monster, which includes all the songs off of The Fame along 8 new tracks. Gaga performed a snippet of it last week on SNL. The song's cool, but it didn't hit me like a ton of bricks the way "Love Game" or "Paparazzi" did. Oh well, maybe it'll grow on me. Listen to it below:

Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize

I bet Joe Wilson had a seizure when he heard this. President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."

Obama becomes the fourth U.S. president receive the honor, and the second president, besides Woodrow Wilson, to receive it while still in office.

Nobel committee chairman Thorbjorn Jagland reportedly brushed asides questions as to whether Obama might become "mired in a war in Afghanistan as Lyndon B. Johnson had been ensnared in Vietnam," according to the New York Times account.

"We are not awarding the prize for what may happen in the future but for what he has done in the previous year," Jagland said. "We would hope this will enhance what he is trying to do." Jagland, a former prime minister of Norway, stood by the committee's choice under questioning.

"The question we have to ask is who has done the most in the previous year to enhance peace in the world. And who has done more than Barack Obama?" The White House said the president was "humbled to be selected."

Atlanta Teen Drops Out Of School Over Dress Code

Sixteen-year old Jonathan Escobar dropped out of North Cobb High School because he wouldn't comply with administrator's demands that he "dress more manly." Escobar's wardrobe, which consists of wigs, makeup and skinny jeans, led to a fight between two students.

Escobar said he talked to school officials about his appearance before enrolling and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Now the same officials say the teen must dress more masculine or consider being home-schooled. Since he dropped out, 900 fellow students have created a Facebook group called Support Jonathan.

Escobar said if he wouldn't go to school if he could not express himself.

"If I can't express myself, I won't go to school," he said. "I want to get the message out there that because this is who I am, I can't get an education."

All I can say is that this kid has more courage in his painted pinky toe than I had in my entire body when I was 16. It's also a pleasant surprise that he has so much support at school, especially considering said school is in Atlanta. While Escobar's appearance is different from most male students, it's not like he came to school in full-blown drag, face beat to an inch of his life. No one bats an eyelash when girls have short cuts or fades and wear baggy clothes. Guys should be given the same treatment. Watch the news story here.

LOS ANGELES - sexy singer Beyonce Knowles will reportedly play the character of a well-known comic, Wonder Woman on the big screen.

Wonder Woman will be launched following the success of the movie's adaptation of cartoon characters like Spiderman IronMan and in recent years, as quoted from the Legal femalefirst, Wednesday (7/10/2009).

According to ComicBookMovie.com, Beyonce will soon talk with screenwriter and director of this movie. Beyonce admitted that he had been through a casting for a very brave character. Wonder Woman would be something very powerful thing. "It's like a dream come true," she said.

Beyonce In addition, a number of other artists are also considered to play for this role as Jessica Biel, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Christina Milian, and Shannyn Sossamon.

The film is scheduled to begin production in 2010 and 2011 target years will soon be released.
