7.1-magnitude earthquake shakes Loyalty Islands, Vanuatu on May 10, 2011

An earthquake which registered a Richter Scale reading of magnitude 7.1 struck the Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia and Vanautu on May 10, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

According to Agence France-Presse, there was no tsumai warning that has been issued.
