Based on information, Hasan Tiro died at approximately 12:17 pm at Zainal Abidin Hospital in Banda Aceh. He died at the age of 85 years.
Hasan Tiro undergoing treatment since last week. He was treated for an infection in the lungs. Not a single former GAM leaders who commented on this sad news. However, a number of family and friends of the deceased has fulfilled the Zainal Abidin Hospital.
As known, Hasan Tiro is an Indonesian citizen who had long domiciled in Sweden because of political problems. He is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta is also unschooled in science education at Columbia University.
