Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed Make Up: Will Appear on Stage Together July 22 in British Columbia

The Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed split up story obviously ends with a happy ending, all the while Gene laughs all the way to the bank. Tweed says she's angry her 61 year old partner is the center of attention for young women everywhere.

GeneSimmons.com has a graphic that makes it look like the latest Tom Hanks Meg Ryan movie on his site.

But don't you worry rocks favorite family complete with Playboy playmate Shannon Tweed is going down. There appears to be a happy ending as the family will appear live in concert at the River Rock Casino and Resort in British Columbia on July 22. Gene's need for self-promotion gives away the fact they have obviously made up.

The event is described as:

FOR THE FIRST TIME TOGETHER ON STAGE! Gene Simmons – the legendary, tongue-wagging demon of KISS – is coming to the River Rock Casino Resort … and he’s bringing his family with him! Gene co-founded the band in 1976 and since that time, they have broken box office records worldwide previously set by Elvis and the Beatles. In addition, he runs Simmons Records, Simmons Audio Visual and Gene Simmons Game magazine. He is also busy with another of his new ventures: Simmons Abrahamson Marketing which handles worldwide branding/marketing and branding for the Indy Racing League. Gene has been happily “un-married” to Canada’s own Shannon Tweed – former Playmate of the Year, actress and model – for 27 years. The couple has two children … a son, Nicholas and a daughter, Sophie. Both are currently attending Pitzer College in Claremont, California.

In 2006, Gene, Shannon and the kids began production on their own reality television show. Gene Simmons Family Jewels premiered on A&E that summer and was an immediate ratings hit for the network. Now in its sixth season, the series revolves around Gene and his family and reflects how the most non-traditional, traditional family in America manages to make it work under the oddest of circumstances. Gene, Shannon, Nick and Sophie will be appearing together … for the first time ever … on stage at the River Rock Casino Resort’s Show Theatre on July 22nd. During the evening, they’ll be sharing their many stories and some laughs followed by a Q&A with the audience!

Tickets: Orchestra $49.50 | Golden Circle $69.50 | VIP Package $149.50*

Wanna bet Gene gets to continue to play the role of rock and roll star with the Polaroid collection when everything is said and done?

I saw Kiss two shows in a row during the Psycho Circus tour. During each Ace Frehley guitar solo, beautiful young women were escorted underneath the stage. My mind didn't need to wander far to figure out what was going on. Gene is a legend you know.
