Remember Melissa Gilbert? The cute actress that placed Laura Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie back in the seventies and early eighties--a family show with Michael Landon? It appears sweet little half-pint may have not been so sweet in real life.
Her divorce proceedings have opened a few windows into her life as her soon to be ex husband is making accusations she is an alcoholic and a cocaine user.
"Melissa's had a long, rocky battle with booze, complete with blackouts and violent outbursts... It's a far raunchier story than Melissa would ever tell – but that's what would make it a best-seller. That's what publishers want Bruce Boxleitner to write. Bruce witnessed a living hell. And THAT's the story publishers want."
Is this true or just another steamy story that attracts publishers? I thought she was actually a childhood start who had it together.
