Google Entered the "Fashion" Business

SAN FRANCISCO - Google's business expansion continues to explore new market niche. This time, the giant  website is trying to attract female consumers by launching a website www.boutiques.com.

This site provides a space for everyone to make own online store in the style of clothes she likes. Google's main role in this web site remained on search engines. Features of it's search engine to help users to find stuff that matches any appropriate interests of each user.

"In fashion, there are many options. The site is supposed to present it all," said Munjal Shah, director of product management for Google, as reported by AFP on Thursday (18/11/2010). The presence of this web site is the result of Google's acquisition of Like.com.


Besides featuring a collection of every user, Boutiques.com also presents a collection that covered the famous figures, like celebrities, designers, and fashion bloggers. Unfortunately, for temporary service online store is only available to users in the U.S. and this site specifically for women's fashion collections.
