"Wall Street 2" Reach Top of Box Office

"Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps", by Oliver Stone about the financial business world, managed to obtain 19 million U.S. dollars at the end of last week, according to Box Office Mojo.

However, the film which was originally planned for release that spring - still below expectations, though the film is among the best debut films ever made by Oliver Stone.

"Wall Street 2", starring Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf was to shift the position of "The Town" which eventually fell into the position-3 (16 million U.S. dollars), while the 2nd place belongs to "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole "which earned 16.3 million dollars in its first week.


"The Town" starring and directed by Ben Afflek, collected 49 million dollars cumulatively.

Furthermore, who also entered the top 10 are: "Easy A" (no. 4, $ 10.7 million), "You Again" (no. 5, $ 8.3 million), "Devil" (no. 6, $ 6.5 million ), "Resident Evil: Afterlife" (no. 7, $ 4.5 million), "Alpha and Omega" (no. 8, $ 4.7 million), "Takers" (no.9, $ 1.7 million), and "Inception" (no. 10, $ 1.2 million).
