Sarah Steelman Faces the Impossible Considering Her First Quarter Fundraising

Sarah Steelman today told KRZK she is going to need at least $14 million to beat Claire McCaskill. Get ready for a political acid trip to avoid the tough reality that faces Steelman.

Why do we need to go to La La Land to feel better about Steelman's chances of beating Claire? Because her campaign has already seen a major shake up as she fired those who were running her campaign after just three or four months. As well, her first quarter 2011 fundraising was described as "lackluster" in a time when Republicans, thanks to the tyrant and chief Barack Obama, are winning elections again. Steelman only raised $186,000 in her first quarter. We will soon see if she performed better in the second quarter in just a couple of weeks. I know I don't have to tell you...

You can do the math.

There is just not that much excitement surrounding Steelman, and the more she opens her mouth, the more concern there should be, especially when you consider Steelman will probably turn the Republican primary into a nasty race that eats up resources and money just like she did in the Republican primary for Missouri governor against Kenny Hulshof.
