Obama Got a Traffic Ticket in London and Probably Won't Pay It

Obama and his motorcade became such a problem for London motorists, the English bobbies wrote his motorcade a ticket for holding up traffic on his recent trip to London. The Brits were upset that Obama kept them from getting where they wanted to go, and they are even more upset the reports are coming in that Obama will not pay for the tickets.

As it turns out this is nothing new. The U.S. Embassy in London currently owes $8.7 million in fines for traffic congestion according to The Ticket. That's a serious traffic fine in any part of the world.

The US Embassy in Long cite they are well within their right not to pay the tickets.  The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations prohibits taxes and traffic fines on diplomatic missions by the host country. Of course this is something New Yorkers know well as the clowns and scoundrels that work in in the UN and have diplomatic privilege never pay their New York parking tickets and violations.
