Obama's Parade of Victims: Are They Better Off Then They Were Four Year Ago

Isn't it amazing? Four American families, victims of America according to Obama, interwoven into a long campaign infomercial just days before the 2008 election. Where are they today? Why haven't we heard how their American story has gotten better since Obama took office?

They seem forgotten about proving they were just props by Obama's propaganda machine. I guess, judging from what I see in America today, there would probably be a longer line of American "victims" that would qualify for such a commercial, but the Obama administration tells us each week life is getting better in America despite more and more Americans losing their jobs.

There was Rebecca Johnston who lives in North Kansas City, Missouri. She couldn't afford for an operation for her husband, a true story of American misery, because he had a job in America--a job so bad that it requires him to stand on his feet all day. As Obama made some big bucks for a book deal for a children's book about the same time he exploited the Johnston family, there is no sign of charity from Mr. Obama to help this American out. There is only a law that will hold this family at gunpoint as an IRS agent forces them to buy healthcare coverage.

You may remember Obama's infomercial showed Johnston pumping gas describing high gas prices and how they struggle. Yes, considering gas prices are higher in America since Obama took over, there obviously hasn't been much relief for the Johnston family. Searching the first three pages of Google shows no evidence of life getting better for Rebecca Johnston under Obama.

Yet, as Obama tries telling us life sucks for the Johnston family and he is the solution to the problem, as husband Larry can't afford an operation, we see them driving around in a newer SUV, wasting money on cute stickers for the rear window, and of course her kids aren't going without the same snacks that Barack and Michelle have waged war on in the days since.

I dobut Dave Ramsey would approve of the luxuries the Johnstons enjoy while putting off surgery for an injury that threatens Mr. Johnston's job, but this opening family proved to me just how much Obama hates America. Wanna bet Rebecca Johnston pays the cell phone, cable, and internet bill while dear hubby remains in pain?

Then there was Larry Stewart and his wife Juanita in Sardinia, Ohio. This couple was entering their golden years facing rising medical bills and the fact Juanita has to take 12 prescription medicines a day. Obama forgot to tell you the socialists arm of the Republican party passed a prescription pill plan as he exploited the Stewart family.

Obama sold us on the idea, without ever considering how much the Stewart family saved for retirement, the idea America sucks because the Stewarts had to take out a loan against their house to pay for Juanita's medicine, and Larry had to go back to work after being retired for a few years. Now how many people have lost their jobs in Barack's America after a failed stimulus plan didn't create the shovel-ready jobs it promised? How many of those people lost their homes?

Obama exploited the Stewarts to talk about health care, energy independence, and lost jobs. Have you seen any valid solutions for these three problems in Barack's America?

Then there was teacher Juliana Sanchez. Sanchez is more proof America has the plumpest poor people in the world, and as she struggles to buy food, having to take a second job, she had no problem purchasing a full line of cosmetics and possibly a manicure. Yet America sucks according to Obama using Sanchez as the example because she has to make the tough decision at the grocery store each week whether or not to pick up the gallon of milk or the half gallon of milk.

I am sure most Americans are aware of the skyrocketing grocery store bill that has become reality since Obama took office. So why no follow up on Sanchez? Perhaps Obama and the mainstream media doesn't want us to know she probably now faces the ultimate dilemma in Obama's America, choosing between the pint or the half pint at the grocery store. Let's not forget, Sanchez was seen driving in a PT Cruiser in this video, which tells me she too wasn't willing to sacrifice by driving a truly "used" car in order to buy her milk. Only in America could Barack Obama get away with selling you this America sucks story.

Finally, the last American victim on parade late October 2008 was Mark and Melinda Dowell. These were the union ethos in the story, and their union had failed to ensure Mark got his hours as environmental policies that politicians like Barack Obama support continue to call the automobile the greatest evil ever built by man to justify their passage.

Of course, Obama had a plan for this family too. It was called stimulus. The Obama administration pushed nearly a trillion in spending for job creation, and yet, two and a half years later, unemployment continues to rise.

I think we know why there has been little to no follow up about Obama's parade of victims.
