Those living in Springfield, Missouri, with fond memories of a good bicycle race cut short by politics may remember the name Mark Cavendish when you see his video winning today's Tour De France stage. That's because in 2008, it was Cavendish that dominated the first two days of the Tour of Missouri winning both the Kansas City and the Springfield stages.

Cavendish happens to be one of the premier sprinters in the sport, and he expected to win a few more stages this year in the Tour De France.
