Don't Let Billy Long Get Wind of This: Obama to Host the First Ever Twitter Town Hall Meeting

Congressman Billy Long has gone out of his way to avoid the tough questions of his constituents. Earlier this year, Long said he will not host town hall meetings in person because the tele town hall is a more efficient way to reach constituents. Of course, journalist Randy Turner jumped on the telephone for Long's first tele town hall meeting describing it as a waste of time full of Billy Long's jokes now known as Billyisms.

Of course it's not hard to figure out why a weak Congressman like Billy Long wouldn't want to stand up and answer questions from voters in an uncontrolled environment like a real town hall meeting. It would show that he is clueless, so the telephone town hall allows Congressman Long's staff to coach him by selecting questions and writing a script for Billy ahead of time. Funny, when you consider...

Now the prolific tweeter Long may have a reason for not even taking a chance during a tele town hall meeting. There appears to be a new format for town hall meetings, a perfect format for dimwits like Long and Barack Obama. It's called the Twitter Town Hall, and considering you can't do anything over 140 characters, Long is wondering why he didn't first come up with the idea.

Yes, it appears that other dimwit, Barack Obama, will host the first ever Twitter Town Hall meeting, which is perfect for Americans who don't want to think much beyond a simple sentence short in structure.
