While there is nothing official yet, Michael Wardell, the only Republican who didn't back Billy Long based on character issues in the 2010 election, has launched a new social media campaign. On YouTube, a new channel appeared under the name Wardell2012. It appears he or someone else has Congressman Billy Long in his targets. Notice the use of third person:
This channel's purpose is to gather those who want a change in our representative here in the 7th District in Missouri, and hope that we can encourage Michael to run against Mr. Long.
Wardell2012 This Channel is dedicated to those of us who don't want Billy Long our Representative any more. We are hoping that Michael will take on Mr. Long.
The channel contains a recent video of the Marine criticizing the current Congressman. (It's a wonder the FBI weren't sent to the bbq to silence this critic.)
