As predicted, KZRG has removed the now-controversial video in which Josh Marsh asks Billy Long why should we trust Long. The video is removed just a little over a week after Long filed his campaign disclosures which leave out some information that Long shared with Marsh about selling his businesses.
Of course, bloggers like Jim Lee exposed that Long didn't follow through with the promises he made on the Marsh morning show. Doubts about Long's follow through have even made the pages of Breitbart. Long talks about having to sell his 1/3 interest in Murney Associates. That multi-million dollar interest has never showed up on either of Long's financial disclosures, as it also appears Long transferred ownership of his auction business to his wife and is having a paid senior congressional staffer manage the auction house.
With all this in question, Marsh never followed up on Long's promise. For some reason, KZRG no longer wants you to hear the interview of Long mentioning his assets and that he would be forced to sell them. Of course nothing on the Internet goes away.
Here is a transcript of that interview and some interesting details that have been uncovered in comparison with the Marsh/Long interview:
“You have to sell your business. If you have a fiduciary business, you have to sell that, so I’ve gotta walk away from a business I built up for 30 years. Who’s gonna buy it without me there? Answer: Nobody. Whoever I sell it to has to take my name off of it. Now, what’s it worth? Absolutely nothing.
“I own a third interest in the largest real estate company in Springfield; I have to sell that. Do you want to buy a real estate company today? You know, they’re not worth anything, and I have to give up my real estate broker’s license.”
So why is it KZRG removed the video? Are they helping Billy Long hide something?
Here's a copy of the video KZRG removed from their YouTube account.
