Microsoft wants you to stop using Internet Explorer 6…right now!

Microsoft wants you to stop using Internet Explorer 6…right now!
You have to love when a company has to tell its customers to stop using a product.
From USA Today, ((Microsoft is ready to move beyond Internet Explorer 6. The software giant has launched a new website, The Internet Explorer 6 Countdown, that bears the slogan: "Moving the world off Internet Explorer 6." ))
I personally think the 1% of users around the world deserve the rude awaking if they are still using IE6 or the fact they're even using IE to begin with.
Could you imagine Coca-Cola asking people to stop drinking Classic Coke for New Coke 2.0?

Joslyn James, Soak up with Half Naked

Joslyn James, a woman who had horrendous scandal affair with golfer Tiger Woods, re-create a sensation.

Female 34 years old was seen spending time all day in Miami Beach, Florida by appearing nearly nude while sunbathing. He was wearing only white underpants and a blue bra.

These events become a free spectacle of visitors to the beach, because it seems all the 'paintings'that exists in him, including a number of tattoos. He casually lying on the sand that has been given a pedestal.

Once satisfied "roasting" a sexy body, James rushed to replace the clothes. This time, James appears with more makeup ngejreng for wearing an orange singlet, gray shorts and a white cap to protect the skin from the sun.

However, Joslyn did not close the back of her body. An effort has been done by using a towel University of Alabama who tucked in her pants, but that would still be visible.

Vent (Mumble) Harassment Alf Stewart
I have no idea who this guy is but I like this version of “Alf”.  Is this the alien life-form all grown up?
It appears this guy is a character from an Australian soap opera.

GI Joe intros from 83-87

GI Joe intros from 83-87
Man, this brings back memories.  I’ve been watching old episodes of this show recently and I’ve loved every second.  I’ve watched the first two mini-series that came out before the regular show.  Anyway, the animation in the intros was well drawn.  Each new intro would introduce some of the newer characters.  I’m torn as to if I like the Ducktales song better or not.
By far, the movie intro is best of the bunch, because it is the closest to Japanese animation.  Plus, the intro for the cartoon movie is sort of a James Bond type intro, and can be seen a part of the story.
The music for the most part is the same throughout seasons and mini-series, while their sister show Transformers changed their theme song each season or mini-series.
Here is the regular intro to the 1990's series from DiC
It is kind of catchy.
Here is the intro from their mini-series from DiC with the added "International Heroes" bit.

From Soup to Nuts

From Soup to Nuts
One of the old time sayings or figures of speech that has always confused me is the saying, “Soup to nuts.”  What hell does that even mean?  I’ve never related nuts to various soups.
Having no life, I looked it up on Google.  I noticed there was a movie from the 1930 film called Soup to Nuts and it was a comedy. It was the first appearance of the comedic group The Three Stooges with Shemp included. Well, that's all and good, but it didn't answer my Soup to Nuts question.
So, I went to the Straight Dope, (( For centuries, any foods served at the beginning or end of a meal stood for the entire thing: the start and finish and everything in between. This expression was "from eggs to apples" and "from pottage to cheese." In the United States in the middle of the 20th century, the expression developed into "from soup to nuts." At many meals, soup is often the first course and a dessert with nuts is sometimes the last. The expression does not have to refer to only to meals, however. It could be the selection of goods for sale or classes offered. ))
So, it seems the saying means “from being to end” with nuts being a dessert of sorts.
Now, I know, and knowing is half the battle.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
If you like retro gaming and anime TV shows, then you might just enjoy Scott Pilgrim.  Before watching the movie, I thought I wouldn’t like it because of the hipster vibe smell coming off the trailers.  I generally hate the hipster culture because they have little knowledge of the things they supposedly like and their tight pants annoy me.  After hearing the overhyping of the movie from the Internet and small box office draw, I thought I’d hate the movie.  However, I really enjoyed Scott more than I thought I would.  Actually, I really enjoyed it.
Scott Pilgrim is about a 20-something that discovers the love of his life in the form of an American girl.  (Ramona Flowers)  Ramona has a past history with seven ex-boyfriends that team up to fight Scott.
Right off the bat with the opening Universal theme, I fell in love with the movie.  Basically, they turned the famous Jerry Goldsmith Universal theme into an 8-bit version.  I always like when movies do something strange to the studio logos and this movie isn’t any different.
The movie has many old school references, but they work within the context of the goofiness of the story and concept.  The writers segment the story with the various battles that all reference certain styles and movies/videogames.  This brings a great deal of freshness to each scene, as you wonder what kind of battle will be next.
Each battle is a slice of geek-dom that someone will recognize.  Plus, did I mention I enjoyed the Sonic Hedgehog bit with Scott’s enemies exploding into coins after each defeat.  I also got a laugh out of Scott’s sister nearly breaking the fourth wall in the first battle because she doesn’t understand what’s going on.
Michael Cera fits into the role of Scott Pilgrim nicely.  Sure, Cera doesn’t really break out of the awkward Cera character he plays in all his roles, but the script seems to love having him play off the stranger moments in the movie.  And, it should be noted that the movie also makes fun of an earlier Cera movie that came out in 2010 with funny results.
The rest of the cast members are pretty good in their roles, especially the seven evil exes.  I won’t get into all of them, but I enjoyed Brandon Routh’s role as a Dragon Ball Z type of villain.  Jason Schwartzman fills the role of wormy super villain nicely, almost too nicely.  I also enjoyed Chris Evans’ take on the Hollywood action star.
While the hipster aspect of the movie is a bit annoying, the crazy action makes up for that factor of the story.  (Would 20-somethings know anything about Launch Pad McQuack or the theme to an older Final Fantasy game unless they were hipsters?)  There are a few corny and boring moments that only vaguely distract from the overall story and bright visuals.  However, the movie as a whole is very fast and fun.  If you are a fan of movies and 90s videogames, you can’t go wrong with Scott Pilgrim.

Grade:  B+

Brandon Routh:  “Our Dragon Ball style fight will last at least ten episodes.”

Michael Cera:  “Did you know I was in Arrested Development?”
Ramona:  “So, you were a part of that 90s rap group?”

Michael Cera:  “Uh, yes, yes I was…”

Charlie Sheen is Bi-Winning…

Charlie Sheen is Bi-Winning…
Make sure to check out the interview from ABC.  Holy crap, this guy is off the deep end.  Thanks to Angell for bringing this up on Facebook.  Maybe I’m wrong, but Mr. Wall Street been making a complete and utter ass of himself lately.  He is obviously not clean or in good health.
And, make sure to check out MC’s Theory about Sheen.  I call it the Sheen Theory.  He is correct that many actors do try to get fired from their shows by bad mouthing the producers and making strange statements.  However, Sheen has probably roasted all the brain cells in his head.
Now, his publicist has thrown in the towel and left Sheen.  From Sun-Sentinel, ((Sheen's latest appearance was on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Monday evening, hours after it was reported that Sheen's longtime publicist, Stan Rosenfield, had resigned. In a statement, Rosenfield said he is "no longer able to work effectively as [Sheen's] publicist."))
To be fair, he was the one that made up that complete lie about Sheen during his attack on that Hotel Room and Pornstar.
And, right now, he’s getting support from the last he needs support from…Mel ‘Mad Mel’ Gibson.  Uh, Gibson, you might want to fix your own house before throwing support to Sheen right now.  Maybe these two can make a sitcom together.
By the way, the reason I know that Sheen isn’t clean is the fact I have a family member with alcohol and drug addiction.  And, he sounds just like Sheen does in these interviews.  He’s pretty much has given up treatment and plans of riding this thing out until he dies from it just like Sheen.  And, there’s nothing we can do about it.
Somewhere, Lindsay Lohan is thanking Sheen for his press-stealing antics.
