Local Man Challenges Jonesboro Police for Conducting a Warrantless Search of Woman's Car

OK, the guy sounds a little nutty, but it appears to me he was engaged in his first Amendment right questioning the warrantless search of a woman's car in front of his house, which the police offers cuffed, patted down touching the woman's breasts without calling in a female officer, and then started going through her car. The man begins videotaping and then shouting to the police they are violating the woman's Fourth Amendment rights. He probably goes over the line calling the Jonesboro police Nazis, but then again, warrantless searches are a product of the Nazi system, and there is no law that says he can't call the police Nazi's.

But as you can see, challenging the police officers in Jonesboro, AR, and video taping them leads this man's arrest. I don't agree with the arrest and feel the officers enabled the situation, but none the less they arrest the man.

Ask yourself a couple questions in this video. This was a routine traffic stop, why are these officers going through this woman's car as she is handcuffed? Why is she handcuffed in the first place, especially if she was cooperative with the officers and allowed them to search her car? As you can see in the video, whatever the woman did, it wasn't enough to arrest her.

Calling police officers Nazis, pigs, pork, or whatever isn't against the law. In fact, it's protected under the first Amendment. Do you think our founding fathers had kind words for King George and his men? Of course not.

You can tell by officer Arnold's attitude the badge goes to his head. As well with officer Flannigan, who threatens to ticket him for his grass being too tall. Geez!
