Ron Paul Takes on the FDA's Raw Milk Police: Paul Introduces Milk Freedom Bill

Did you know it's nearly a crime to drink raw milk in this country. In fact, I would venture to say it's probably easier to smoke marijuana over having a glass of raw milk free from growth homones and full of nutrients and immunity building enzymes, which are killed off during pasteurization.

Congressman Ron Paul is fighting against the FDA and its war on raw milk. I don't think anyone can say it better when it comes down the reality of the federal fight against raw milk farmers.

"If we are not even free anymore to decide something as basic as what we wish to eat or drink, how much freedom do we really have left?"

He's right once again.

Now Ron Paul has introduced legislation, a milk freedom bill, to allow free trade of milk across state lines. It's hard to believe that in America we need a bill that lets people carry milk across state lines isn't it?

The New American reports:

The New American reports:

"Even if the FDA were correct in its assertions about the dangers of raw milk, its prohibition on interstate raw milk sales would still be, as Paul termed it, 'an unconstitutional misapplication of the commerce clause for legislative ends' ...

Saying he is 'outraged' by the FDA's raids on peaceful dairy farmers and their customers, Paul has introduced legislation ... 'to allow the shipment and distribution of unpasteurized milk and milk products for human consumption across state lines,' in effect reversing the FDA's unconstitutional ban on such sales."
