It's sad to watch the demise of the United States Post Office. Once and efficient self-supporting arm of government is now the victim of raids of federal postal pensions and other mismanagement. I don't need to remind you the post office is heavily in debt like the rest of the federal government.
For years we have heard the possibility of the US mail dropping Saturday delivery. That has never occurred, but it's not very likely the mail may go to a three-day home delivery cycle.
