Mitch McConnell has become the poster child for Barack Obama's reelection campaign. Let's call him hopey and changey part duex. (Yes I know it's misspelled.) As if Obama hasn't acquired enough unconstitutional power, which the Republican party has pretty much gone along with since gaining power in Washington in January, McConnnell prepares to deliver the final puzzle piece to Obama's supreme power--the power of the purse.
I ask you, considering Senator McConnell's boneheaded move to give Obama power over the purse strings by allowing him to raise the debt ceiling in increments as he pleases, only fearing a 2/3 majority vote in Congress, why do we even need a Congress anymore? I mean they continue sacrificing their power to Obama, so what are they really going to do in Washington rather than collect a check, retirement, and benefits.
With McConnell's boneheaded move, all I can say is why is anyone trusting the Republicans to pull back this administration to the limits of the Constitution?
Not only does his move set up more tyranny, it also assures Obama reelection since the word on the street will be Republicans failed. With that will come any lack of enthusiasm, especially from the Tea Party, to go to the polls next November and vote Republican.
The debt ceiling issue is one that drove Americans to the polls last year to make changes in the House, and the Republicans are ready to botch it. When and if they do, Obama gets reelected.
