Democrats Attack Billy Long for Wanting to Cut Social Security Noting His Vacation Pay is More Than Their Yearly Social Security Pay

You may remember this exchange between Busplunge writer Jim Lee and Billy Long during the election on Social Security. Long left open the possibility of cutting or eliminating Social Security benefits in the open, saying "for now" we "must honor the commitment to our seniors."



Well the Moniteau County Democrats in Missouri have launched an attack against Congressman Long over Social Security. They ask the lingering question as Billy Long continues to take advantage of the federal tax payer with a huge Washington salary, federal health and retirement benefits, and even a $60,000 staff member working part time in Washington as his agriculture adviser while running his auction company with the rest of his time, about why Billy Long wants to cut Social Security benefits.
