Just how bad is effort of the United States government enforcing the borders in Texas? Ask Joshua Jordan, who drove down to see the fence, which stands at 16 feet tall.
Jordan actually photographed one illegal alien manage to climb the fence from Mexico carrying his bicycle with him hoping he could ride off like Lance Armstrong upon getting to the United States. The illegal got to the top of the fence with his bike and threw it down to the man who had crossed just seconds before the man with a bike. Apparently it hurt the man below, but not enough to keep him from running to take shelter.
When this was reported to the feds, they gave their typical feel good answer about enforcing the border.
"Just because you don't see Border Patrol out on the fence line doesn't mean we're not being vigilant and watching the border," supervising Border Patrol agent Demetrio Guerra said.
