Seriously, Why Ten More Days in Jail for Casey Anthony as States Battle Budget Shortfalls?

The prosecution failed to convince jurors beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony killed Caylee Anthony. This doens't mean she is truly innocent, but there wasn't enough evidence to convict her of murder. the problem lies from the fact the prosecution had never determined the cause of death, and if they can't determine the cause of death, it would be hard for them to prove how anyone killed the little girl. Like it or not, the system worked.

So we have this sentencing for the guilty charges for lying to a cop. (Which by the way, it's seems the court systems have no problems with cops lying, just don't you lie to a cop.) We also know Casey Anthony has served three years in jail since being arrested, so considering all this, we got a release date of July 13, that was soon changed to the 17th, thus she will spend an additional ten days in jail.

Why?

As states struggle with budget shortfalls increasing the debt of the state, which in turn takes a bit out of state sovereignty, since many of these states look to the federal government for assistance (bailout), on average these ten additional days in jail will cost the state of Florida over $1000 to keep her behind bars.

I just don't see what the point is at this time since she was cleared of all major charges.
